Class Samples
A coloring book which uses actionscripting. Students can select this as one of the assignments they do using their own graphics and ideas. For some reason yellow and white aren't working properly through this page & in Netsape only. Click here to access just the swf, which should work.
A fortune cookie generator that incorporates actionscripting. This was another project that students could select and do on their own.
A masking effect that looks a lot more complicated that it really is. It shows how a little simple work can give you a very dramatic, advanced-looking effect.
This sample was to demonstrate using actionscripting to make the movie respond to the keyboard, as well as the mouse. You may need to click once on this one, just to activate it, before the keyboard function will work.
Another one of those actionscript assignments that students can pick from, only this time it's a puzzle.
This is a demo shown in-class to show the difference between streaming and event sounds in Flash. This one in particular shows how you can sync events on the stage with streaming sound.

This started as a game I wanted to try and send to my nephew. (I eventually based an assignment of this one too.)
This was a card I wanted to try. My friends get a kick out of it.
